Mr. Syed Mehdi Imam obtained his LL.B. degree from C.M. Law College, Darbhanga, affiliated with L.N.M. University, Bihar. Mr. Imam was admitted to the Bar Council of Delhi in 1997 and brings over 25 years of extensive legal experience, including appearances before the Honourable Supreme Court of India.

Mr. Imam honed his skills under the mentorship of the late Mr. Anis Suhrawardy, who served as the standing counsel for the State of Jammu and Kashmir for nearly a decade and is the father of Atif Suhrawardy, the firm’s Managing Partner. During this period, Mr. Imam gained extensive expertise in criminal law, service law, constitutional law, and the local laws of Jammu and Kashmir while representing the state.

In 2011, Mr. Imam successfully qualified as an Advocate-on-Record (AOR) and has since served in this capacity, representing the firm’s clients before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
