Ms. Kamya Ritu Verma is a graduate of Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi, and holds an LL.B. degree from Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi.
Ms. Verma began her legal career as Principal Associate at BBPM Law Associates, New Delhi, from 2011-12, specialising in corporate and commercial litigation. She then transitioned to independent practice at the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi before joining Vidhiśāstras-Advocates & Solicitors in 2016, where she currently serves as a Partner.
Ms. Verma expertise lies in matrimonial cases. She represents individuals in all aspects of family law such as domestic & international divorce, mutual consent, financial issues, spousal maintenance, transfer of properties, domestic violence, custody, and separation.
She dynamically takes care of the Corporate and Commercial department of the Firm primarily focusing on mergers and acquisitions, breach of contract, employment and labour disputes, medical negligence, regulatory compliance, due diligence, and corporate commercial matters.
Additionally, Ms. Verma handles cases in property cases, immigration law, alternate dispute resolution, investment and finance, energy and infrastructure, and intellectual property.
